WHO ARE WE?

THE ARKANSAS ASSOCIATION FOR PROPERTY AND EVIDENCE (A.A.P.E.)
is a non-profit organization that was established in 2005 to provide a network to promote the professionalism of the property and evidence function within the state.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Three types of memberships are offered:

ACTIVE
Persons working directly in the property and evidence function 

ASSOCIATE 
Persons not directly involved in the property and evidence function 

CORPORATE 
for businesses wishing to support the Association. 

Our Mission Statement

Provide research, collection, educational exchange and dissemination of information relative to the property and evidence function.Promote professionalism with a high standard of performance of property and evidence personnel. Promote a standardization of the storage, collection, submittal to lab, and the destruction of evidence and property.Solicit legal opinions from our state judicial system and educate our members on pending legislation where evidence and property are concerned. Share resources for equipment, supplies and education that is cost effective for our departments.Educate and train evidence and property personnel on safety, regarding the laws in the handling and disposal of hazardous and biological evidence.Promote the association within the State of Arkansas who are concerned with the collection, processing, testing, storage or preservation and destruction of evidence and property.
